Dental Staff

Welcome, everyone! I am Dr. Mary Hand, owner, and dentist at Hand Family Dentistry. I am excited to be a part of the Fort Myers community and I look forward to taking the time to get to meet and know you!

I was born and raised in a small town in New Hampshire. As an undergrad, I received my Bachelor's of Science in Business from the University of New Hampshire while starting my love of dentistry with several years of dental assisting. I then attended the University of New England College of Dental Medicine in Portland, Maine where I received my Doctorate of Dental Medicine. I have practiced both in Florida and New Hampshire before opening this practice, but I am excited to plant my roots in the sunshine state and to serve this community for many years to come.

I have taken the opportunity to start my own practice with the goal of bringing the personal touch back to dentistry. I hope to build not just a practice, but a dental home that’s centered around you, your family, and your community.

When not in the office, I enjoy taking my dogs on adventures, cooking new recipes, camping, fishing, and enjoying the outdoors with my husband and son. I am grateful for the opportunity to meet you all and to keep your smiles healthy, radiant, and in good hands.

Hi, My name is Susie. I'm usually the first smile you'll see when you come in the door. I love helping my patients wither it be at the front desk or during dental procedures. My goal is to give everyone a relaxed, enjoyed experience at our dental office.

I moved here from Ohio in January 2019, (love my Buckeyes!) with a 20 year background in Photography. Deciding to change careers, I started as patient transporter, then clinic manager for a mobile dental clinic. I quickly learned my new love for dentistry. I am a  2020 graduate of The Institute of Medical and Dental Technology, with a certificate in Expanded Functions Dental Assisting and Medical Administrative Assistant.   In my spare time, I love going to beach, spending time with my fiancé, discovering new wildlife trails and taking wildlife and scenery photography. Oh and petting any doggie that will let me!

Hi, My name is Alyssa, Dr. Hands Dental Assistant. Together we make your visit as comfortable and relaxing as we possibly can!

Straight out of high school in 2019, I attended Florida Southwestern where I quickly found the love for dentistry. I am a 2021 graduate of The Institute of Medical and Dental Technology, with a certification in Expanded Functions Dental Assisting. Born and raised in Cape Coral, Florida. I enjoy boating, fishing and spending time with friends and family.
